Abstract
. This situation creates challenges in the evidentiary process and legal protection for victims. Law Number 12 of 2022 concerning the Crime of Sexual Violence provides victims with opportunities through various forms of evidence, such as electronic recordings, medical examinations, and expert testimony, aimed at minimizing the recurrence of sexual harassment. However, this research shows that implementation barriers persist, ranging from limited support services, the low capacity of law enforcement officers to handle traumatized victims, to difficulties in establishing evidence when cases lack witnesses. 2 Nevertheless, opportunities for improvement through services, the capacity of law enforcement officers, and other forms of evidence provide hope for victims of justice. Therefore, the effectiveness of the Law on the Crime of Sexual Violence in ensuring protection and justice for victims of sexual harassment in the absence of witnesses depends heavily on the quality of policy implementation and support within the criminal justice system as a whole.
